ABOUT INNOVONURSE PROJECT
The use of new technology in the field of health is recognised as a core competence, especially for nursing professionals, and there is an urgent need to strengthen the core competences of the nursing field. The development of the nursing profession, including education, career development and employee motivation, is crucial to ensure the availability and quality of medical and preventive care. Simulation, Virtual Reality (VR) and the integration of new technology into vocational education are technological applications that can help nurses keep pace with the development and change in the health system. Integrating technological applications into the field of nursing has the potential to improve patient outcomes and safety.
In addition, the use of technologies such as video and VR can help nursing practitioners gain confidence and reduce anxiety when discussing difficult issues with patients. Innovative technology can be used to increase the professional adaptation of nursing practitioners. Nursing orientation programmes in hospitals are of great importance to ensure safe and effective practice. Competency-based orientation programmes that focus on skills development and combine evidence-based practice can improve patient safety and nurse retention.
The primary aim of this project is to increase the vocational orientation and competencies of nursing practitioners and to develop structured nursing vocat.
Objectives
• O1- to support participating nurse practitioners’ training activities in the use of knowledge, skills, and qualifications related to vocational orientation
• O2- to improve nursing practitioners’ core competencies via new technology
• O3- to develop a structured vocational orientation training program including training content, and necessary materials thatwill allow target groups to learn
• O4- to foster collaboration between academic institutions, stakeholders, and other related groups for promoting the practical application of theoretical concepts.ional orientation training by using innovative technology
